Care and add-ons

  • No oiling. Brother's oiling page lists the CS7000X among related models and says those machines must not be oiled by the user. If the handwheel gets hard to turn or the machine makes unusual noise, Brother says to stop and contact an authorized dealer.
  • Walking foot. Brother says its walking feet differ by feed dog width and shank height, and to check your manual. The CS7000X isn't on the compatibility list of Brother's SA140 page, so confirm the right part before buying one.
  • Bobbins. Use the bobbin type in your manual. See our bobbin guide.
